To solve this problem, we can use some chemical methods to deal with it. A common method is to place the glass-lined reactor in a pickling tank and use the corrosiveness of hydrochloric acid to clean its surface.
But this method is difficult to clean and there is a great potential safety hazard.

If the reactor is directly placed in the air, the inner wall of the container will be corroded due to the high content of carbon dioxide in the air.

1. Acid resistance:

2. Alkali resistance:
Glass-lined glass is less resistant to alkaline solutions than acid solutions. However, the glass-lined sample of our factory is corroded in 1N sodium hydroxide solution, and the test temperature is 80°C for 48 hours. The corrosion rate is 6.76g/m2.d (the index of superior product is 7.0g/m2.d).

3. Operating temperature: When heating and cooling glass-lined equipment, it should be done slowly. The glass-lined equipment manufactured by our factory has an operating temperature of 0-200°C, and its resistance to sudden changes in temperature is greater than or equal to 200°C.

4. Porcelain layer thickness: the thickness of the porcelain layer for glass equipment is 0.8-2.0mm, and the thickness of the porcelain layer for glass-lined equipment accessories is 0.6-1.8mm.

5. Piezoelectric resistance: Glass-lined glass has good insulation. When the glass-lined glass is inspected by 20KV high-frequency electric spark within the specified thickness, the high-frequency electric spark cannot break down the porcelain layer.

6. Impact resistance: The smaller the internal stress of the glass layer, the better the elasticity, the greater the hardness, and the higher the bending and compressive strength, the better the impact resistance. When the glass layer of our factory is within the specified thickness, when it is impacted by a steel ball with a diameter of 30mm and a weight of 112g, the impact energy is 282×10-3J (the index of the superior product is 260×10-3J).

So how should the glass-lined reactor be installed?

1. Handling: Only the can ear is allowed to be stressed during handling (referring to when it is not packaged), and rolling and crowbars are not allowed to avoid vibration and collision.

2. Hoisting: When hoisting, the wire rope must be hung on the specified position (such as jacket connection, tank ear, etc.). (The lifting ring on the tank cover is only used for hanging the tank cover), and it cannot touch any objects, and it should be hung steadily and placed lightly.

3. Inspection before assembly: Before assembly, inspectors should wear clean soft-soled rubber shoes and enter the container to check whether there is any abnormality in the glass-lined layer.

4. Flange installation: When tightening the flange bolts, they should be tightened gradually in pairs along the diagonal, and the force should be even. It should not be tightened completely at one time, so as to avoid the impact of glass-lined layer rupture due to uneven force. service life.

5. Installation of clips: first check whether the clips are complete and whether the quantity meets the requirements. When installing, ensure that the distance is equal and the tightness is moderate to ensure safe operation and reliable sealing.

6. Installation of the agitator: a. Put the agitator into the tank first (the bottom of the tank is covered with a cushion), then lift the tank cover to the predetermined position, and at the same time put the seal on the agitator shaft, and then lift and decelerate the agitator The output shaft of the machine is connected with a locking and anti-loosening device. b. Adjust the coaxiality and verticality of the stirring shaft and the seal, and make the stirring shaft rotate slowly after reaching the requirements of the technical regulations. When the operation is flexible and there is no abnormal phenomenon, then try to turn on the motor button until the operation is normal ( This period should not be too long).

7. Liner selection: it must be selected according to the type, concentration, and temperature of the medium. The nature and use of the liner itself should be suitable for the process requirements. 8. Welding:
a. It is strictly forbidden to apply welding on the surface of the outer wall of the glass-lined tank.
b. When welding the connecting pipe, tank ear and tank seat on the jacket, electric welding shall be used and cooling measures shall be taken, and gas welding is absolutely prohibited.
c. When welding the space near the glass-lined layer, the glass-lined surface, tank mouth and nozzle should be tightly covered to avoid splashing of welding slag and damage the glass-lined surface.

Well, in the daily use process, the equipment also needs regular maintenance.

(1) Every shift (frequently) check whether the operating pressure, temperature, and vacuum degree of the kettle and the jacket of the glass-lined reactor are within the safe operating range of the equipment (especially the operating pressure of the jacket of the reactor is not allowed) Overpressure), when stirring, always pay attention to the operation sound of the equipment, and pay attention to whether the thermometer sleeve in the kettle and the stirring are abnormal.

(2) Equipment operators and maintenance workers should use the means of looking, touching and listening to check the equipment, look at the appearance, feel the temperature rise, and listen to the sound to judge whether the equipment is operating normally, and report any hidden dangers in time.

(3) Regular maintenance of enamel reactor

② Every year before and after the Spring Festival, only the thermometer casing and air intake pipe of the enamel reactor are removed for inspection.
