The operating characteristics of extractive distillation: In order to increase the relative volatility of the separated components, the liquid phase of each plate should maintain sufficient additive concentration. When the raw material and extraction solvent are added to the column in a certain proportion, there must be a certain maximum Appropriate reflux ratio. When the reflux without additives is too large, instead of improving the composition of the distillate, it will reduce the concentration of additives in the column and make separation more difficult. Similarly, when the reflux temperature at the top of the tower is too low or the temperature at which the additive is added is low, it will cause partial condensation of the steam in the tower and dilute the concentration of the additive in each plate.
In the design, in order to make the concentration of the additives in the rectification section and the stripping section roughly close, the feed liquid of the extractive distillation is often fed into the column under the thermal condition of saturated steam. If it is bubble point feeding, the concentration of additives in the rectification section and the stripping section are different, and different phase equilibrium data should be used for calculation.
The extractive distillation experimental device is mainly used for laboratory small test and pilot test research and development and simulation. The small test continuous device is mainly made of glass material, which is convenient for observation during the experiment, and the normal pressure/decompression operating conditions can meet the requirements. , but the glass device is not pressure-resistant and the equipment is easily damaged, so the small test device can also be made of stainless steel; the pilot plant is made of stainless steel due to the larger processing capacity.

The control system of this device adopts PLC integrated control, and the automatic control system can realize the precise control and system stability of pressure, temperature and flow by viewing the process interface, browsing and viewing the stored historical process data, and accessing the curves of various process parameters.
