System Features
Glass molecular distillation uses the difference in mean free path of different types of molecules in the mixture to amplify this difference under high temperature and high vacuum conditions.
Molecules with a large mean free path move to the center of the main evaporator and condense into a liquid state into our special light component collection bottle, while a part of molecules with a small mean free path remain in the form of a liquid on the wall of the main evaporator at high temperatures It then flows by gravity into the heavy fraction collection bottle. We use different cold traps to cool the steam that has not been condensed and collected to obtain different materials. For example, by constructing a cold trap at -20°C as the first cold trap, we can obtain essential oils. MD is a widely used equipment in the field of efficient extraction of plant components.
